Discipleship 'N Community

Our Wednesday evening ministries focus on growing in Christ with each other by building relationships in discipleship and in community. Every Wednesday our church family has an opportunity to build community at our Fellowship Dinners served from 5:15-6pm. Cost for dinners are $4 per plate with a $20 family max. Following the dinner, discipleship classes for all adults, students, and kids run from 6:15-7:15pm. Childcare for 2yrs and under is available to anyone serving or participating in a class.

Senior adults are invited to lunch on Friday, February 13, at 11am in the Cafe. Following a sweet and sour chicken lunch, there will be a devotional speaker and singing by The Virginia Coast Singers.

Cost for lunch is $5.

Men's Breakfast

Men are invited for breakfast, fellowship and to hear from a devotional speaker. Please use the sign-up link to RSVP. 

It’s 1985, and we are on the set of the latest blockbuster movie from the studio of Mr. Honcho L. Stree Blastdance: the Explosive Teen Musical. The cast of teens (and would-be teens) are assembled, the crew are ready, and visitors to the set are hushed in anticipation. Suddenly, there’s an explosion! 

Student in grades 6-12 are invited for a night of dinner and fun as they solve this “who done it” mystery. Use the sign-up link to RSVP your student. You will receive a confirmation email including location details. 

Ladies' Study Begins February 17

Colossians: Rooted in Him is an in-depth, 7-week, verse-by-verse study through the book of Colossians is all about Jesus—who He is, how He calls us to live, and how true joy, peace, and contentment are found in Him alone. Together, we’ll explore what it means to be deeply rooted in Christ and to build lives that reflect His glory.

Bayside Food Pantry serves our church family and community, providing food assistance to individuals and families in the name of Jesus. Each month, we sponsor families referred to us by Virginia Beach Social Services and B.E.A.C.H. (Bringing an End to All City Homelessness) by supplying those families with pantry items. The Food Pantry is always open to our church families in need, as well as to families referred to us by church members. In addition to our monthly distributions, the Food Pantry also provides Holiday Dinner Boxes (i.e., Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter).

Here’s how you can help keep our Food Pantry stocked:

· Visit the main bulletin board in the Welcome Center

·  Take a shopping list or items to donate

·  Bring the items back to the Welcome Center on Sunday morning

BBC Kids is thrilled to announce something new and exciting— BBC Kids Worship Hour, launching Sunday, March 1 at 9:00am!



Designed especially for children ages 3 through 2nd grade, Kids Worship Hour offers a joyful and meaningful worship experience created just for them. During this time, kids will sing, learn, and grow together as they discover truths about God, Christ, and who they are in Him. More than just a program, this hour lays a loving foundation for why we gather as a church to worship. What makes Kids Worship Hour especially intentional is its connection to our main worship gathering. Children will sing the same songs and learn the same core truths we confess together each week as a church. As they grow, this shared language and rhythm of worship will prepare them to confidently join the main worship gathering when they reach 3rd grade. We invite your kids to join us on March 1, at 9am and experience the BBC Kids Worship Hour together.
