Good morning, Church family!

We are looking for 20 more people to volunteer for just two hours on Monday, June 20th - in the evening.  Need to sign up! We have an opportunity to serve at Feed My Starving Children. 50 spots are reserved, and we have only 30 signed up! 

We need you!

Give a couple of hours to a great cause - come serve with HOPE! See below for link to sign up. Location is in Coon Rapids near Northtown (or you can meet at church and ride from here).  There are sit-down things to do, too!

Meet at the Coon Rapids FMSC (401 93rd Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433) at 6:45pm

OR

meet at Hope at 6:20pm to ride share and we will return to Hope by 9:15pm.

If under 10 years and under, then a parent/guardian needs to come as a chaperone. Anyone 10—17 years old needs permission slip signed if coming alone. Anyone age five and up can volunteer!

Just a note about last Sunday's Youtube stream - we apologize that the service was not streamed. Our camera system wasn't 'talking' to YouTube, ah technology. After a few hours of troubleshooting, it seems to be working now. Hopefully, we will have no issues this Sunday.

Other Opportunities to engage:

• We have a church family that has a need - twins were born prematurely and they are currently in the neonatal intensive care unit where they will be for months, perhaps. The mom is staying near the hospital and is in need of newborn and size 1 diapers for when the babies come home. Also, gift cards (visa or target) would be helpful to aid the mom with meals/supplies for staying near the hospital and away from home.  If you want to drop any of these items off in the office or you can designate money and Hope will purchase the gift cards.

• On Wednesday, June 22 we are having a Neighborhood Outreach from 5:30 to 7pm. We will be serving fancy lemonades and inviting neighborhood kids and families to VBS and church! We want to make connections where we are. Can you help? Call the office 612-521-3547 x2001 or email [email protected].

• We are also in need of more VBS volunteers! See more information below! Seeing adults engaging with the next generation for the sake of the gospel is ALWAYS a meaningful experience. Do you have neighborhood kids, family, or friends with kids you could invite to attend HOPE's VBS?

VBS is Sunday, July 24 through Thursday, July 28 from 6:30pm to 8pm!

JOIN US for this fun and FREE event where kids will spark imagination and kick creativity into high gear during our Spark Studios VBS week.

This summer, kids will learn that God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis. The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us –HIS CREATION– to the design He planned for us. Kids will see the beautiful truth that they are God’s workmanship as they learn to use their talents to bring glory to Him.

We will enjoy games, songs, crafts, and snacks, and fun!

WE NEED YOU TO VOLUNTEER! Five days where everyone can hear the gospel every single day.
