Last Day to Give in 2026!

Please consider making a year-end gift to the mission and ministry of Hillcrest. If you have already given, thank you! If you are behind on your intended giving, please consider a catch-up gift today. If you want to give one time or set up a recurring gift, SEE HERE. Each gift supports what God is doing in and through Hillcrest, helps us end the year strong, and starts the new year fully funded. To count in this giving year, gifts must be postmarked or submitted online on 12-31-2025. If you would like to receive giving envelopes for 2026, please contact Meg in the Business Office at mluchies@hillcrestcov.org.

New Sermon Series Starts on Sunday!

New Sermon Series starts January 4! Join us on Sundays at 9 or 10:45 AM or online, for worship and a message from Shift 2026. Our lives are made up of all the things we do every day out of habit. At Hillcrest, we follow Jesus, welcome everyone, and love all. As we create new habits around these spiritual movements, we experience a different kind of life. Our first message from Nate Powell called Get Unstuck is from Romans 7:15-25; 1 Corinthians 15:9-10

Starting a new year is usually accompanied by new things: finding a new job, starting a new relationship, trying to eat healthy, stopping screen time, etc. God invites us to something different than behavior modification. He invites us into spiritual transformation by following Jesus. The grace that saves you is also the grace that changes you. As we start 2026, where do you need God's power to bring transformation? Let's start the year together!

Your faith needs friends, people who encourage you, challenge you, pray with you, and walk with you as you grow closer to Jesus. One of the best ways to pursue new life together in Jesus is by joining a small group. Intergenerational groups, couples' groups, men’s/women’s groups, young adult groups, prayer groups, and more meet at various times during the week. New groups launch the week of January 11, and we would love to help you find the one that fits you best. Indicate your interest here, and our team will personally reach out to guide you into a group where you can grow, belong, and build the kind of relationships your faith thrives on.

Some of our storytellers: Jackie Shaver, Ian Spears, and Karen Blackwell.

Start the new year at our next Song & Story Night on Wednesday, January 14 in the sanctuary. It's a relaxed evening designed to refresh your heart and reconnect you with God and one another. It’s a time when our whole church family, kids, students, and adults, come together to worship, pray, and hear real stories of how Jesus is moving in people’s lives. As you listen, sing, and share in community, our hope is that you leave feeling encouraged, uplifted, spiritually renewed, and more aware of God’s presence at work around you. We’ll have FREE Chick-fil-A nuggets and strips and homemade desserts from 6:30 to 7 PM and then songs and stories from 7 to 8:30 PM. So come hungry, literally and spiritually, and experience a night that fills your soul and brings our church family closer together. See you there!
