What Are Human Rights?

Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination. (From the United Nations Website)

Let’s discover new pathways to differentiate between politics and human rights. How shall we support each other to speak to issues going on in the world as we hold our spiritual truth and take sacred action? As truth students, how can we speak to injustices while honoring the divinity in all people?

Wisdom of the Awakened is a monthly online journey into a select Wisdom Master’s life and writings. Each month, participants will contemplate passages from a master’s writings, learn about the context of their lives and experiences, reflect in guided exercises, and explore the relevance of these teachings in their own lives. These passages are not relics of the past; they are living invitations. Each one is a golden key, opening a door to greater insight, peace, and awakening.
