Lay Counselor Training

You want to help, but you're not sure how...In our churches and communities, many people suffer alone-silently wondering if anyone sees or cares. You may feel inadequate or afraid of saying the wrong thing. But deep down, you want to help.

God calls each of us to engage those around us with hope, help, and truth. As part of our mission to help people know and follow Christ Jesus together, we invite you to a 3-session training led by Pastor Guy Kinney. You'll learn how to step into grace-filled conversations that reflect the compassion and wisdom of Christ.

Come be equipped to make a difference in the lives of the hurting-with the love and truth of Jesus at the center.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

Each year Bayside partners with Samaritan's Purse to share the Gospel around the world. There are 3 ways our church family can be involved. Bring a filled shoebox complete with $10 shipping cost to the Welcome Center, visit our website and build a shoebox online, or choose an item to donate for our Kid's and Student's Packing Party. Bring donations to the Welcome Center by Sunday, November 9.

Kids & Students will prepare and pack shoeboxes using all the donated items. Visit the Christmas Tree in the Welcome Center, choose and item to donate then return the items to the Welcome Center by Sunday, November 9.

RSVP for Men's Breakfast

Each year, our Food Pantry prepares and distributes Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes for families in our community. Thanks to your generosity from the summer food drive we are able to create 70 dinner boxes! If you would like to participate in preparing boxes on November 15, at 10am or distributing the boxes on November 24 and 25, please contact Katrina Critides at kcritides@baysidebc.org.

All are invited to our church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner! Dinner will be served from 5:15-6pm. The cost for dinner is by donations. All gifts go towards our Belize Mission efforts.

Early Registration for YEC

Bayside Baptist Students are going to the Youth Evangelism Conference at London Bridge Baptist Church on Jan 16-17. The students will be called to repentance, renewal in their commitment to Christ, and obedience to the calling on their lives. The time to make Jesus known is now! Early Registration is $35 if paid by December 5. After this date the cost is $45. Use the sign-up link to register your student. Registration fee can be paid online or by cash or check (made payable to Bayside Baptist Church). Don’t let the cost be the only reason you don’t attend. Talk to Sarah Sheik, Director of Student Ministry, if there are any issues!

Bayside Baptist Church collaborates with PiN Ministry and will host a Winter Shelter December 3-10. Under the guidance and direction of the PiN Ministry, guests will stay over night in our gym and be offered breakfast and dinners in the Café.
