Ignite Your Divine Audacity!

According to Unity author Linda Martella-Whitsett, the term “divine audacity” refers to “bold spiritual living, living under the radical premise that I AM divine.” When we are divinely audacious, we fearlessly express our highest spiritual truths in any situation, no matter how challenging. Furthermore, we shatter any appearances of limitation and break through boundaries to fulfill some higher purpose for the good of all. Throughout history we have been inspired by such audacious women, many of whom tenaciously adhered to their spiritual ideals despite being ostracized, publicly condemned and even threatened with death. Though it’s often hard to stand up and speak out for equality and freedom even now, imagine what it was like at an earlier time in American history, when women were thought to be incapable of reasoning and upholding moral discipline! As the U.S. approaches election day with a strong female Presidential candidate on the ballot, it’s time to honor those who helped make this event possible. Please join Rev. Su Choy in celebrating the “women on fire” whose brilliance lit our current path to equality and freedom for all.

We join together as one global family, transcending borders, ideologies, and divisions. With hearts open wide and spirits intertwined, we raise our collective voice to call for peace in our world. We sow seeds of understanding where error thought has taken root, and dispel the shadows of fear, fostering empathy and compassion among nations. We affirm wisdom for our leaders as they navigate the complexities of international relations. May they prioritize dialogue over discord and seek solutions that honor the inherent dignity of every human being. We see the wounds of war and strife, both seen and unseen, being healed in supernatural ways, and comfort and protection for those afflicted. We lift our collective prayer for an end to global wars.

Due to new interest, and to service those who were unable to make the first couple of Saturday classes, I have been able to secure the Cottage Room at Unity on TUESDAY AFTERNOONS, from 3:30 to 5:30 - 

The classes will run from NOVEMBER 5th through DECEMBER 10th

Dancing with our Shadow: Recognizing and engaging Hidden Pieces of our Personality so as to experience more fully our spiritual heritage and integral beauty.

We will utilize “Shadow Dance” by David Richo as a text, to serve as the basis to support our class activities, including gentle processes of mindfulness. These processes, a variety of simple and engaging exercises, will allow us to address and befriend the shadow. They will open our subconscious to reveal the collection of unacknowledged aspects of self, which, remaining hidden, has prevented us from realizing our greatest gifts. And so, our focus will be to bring them to Light. 

In transforming negative or undesirable traits, or those which we admire in others, but disavow in ourselves, we are able to live more authentically and happily. By releasing mis-held energy, we allow ourselves to move out of dis-ease, into greater health and flexibility. In the transmutation of darkness into light we enhance the quality of our lives, improving relationships with others, as well as the one with self.

Affirmation and prayer will be interwoven with the activities in the search for our authentic selves.
