THE GIFT OF FORGIVENESS

Did you know that forgiveness is not an option for a Christian? We must forgive if we are to be forgiven. Actually, there is power in forgiving. It sets others free but also sets you free. It is one of the greatest gifts that you can ever give a person. Not a single one of us is void of sin. Each of us needs a Savior that forgives us.

Jesus spoke a lot about forgiving. He even said that if we don’t forgive, we are eventually turned over to the tormentors. Is your life full of torment? Are you constantly upset over things that don’t “go away”?

Perhaps it is time to examine your heart to see if there is anyone that you have something against. Perhaps it is the person that cut ahead of you in line at the grocery store. Maybe it is your Mother or Dad that treated you terribly as a child. Perhaps it is your child that has treated you with disrespect. Maybe you are mad at the government because you don’t think they are doing things right. Maybe it is your neighbor, or maybe even your Pastor.

We cannot hold on to un-forgiveness. Eventually, we will turn bitter, and then comes torment. I have met people that are full of bitterness. Nothing anyone says or does is right or good enough for people like this. Then there are those that have gone beyond bitterness to a reprobate mind, where all they think about is evil all of the time.

This process doesn’t happen overnight my friends. It starts with a small offense that isn’t forgiven and builds and builds until the heart of the person is so calloused that it is almost impossible for God to get through to them. Sometimes they are turned over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh. That sounds pretty serious to me.

If you have un-forgiveness or bitterness in your life that needs to be dealt with, I suggest that you don’t put it off. There comes a point of no return. Ask God to forgive you of this sin. Let the love of God penetrate your heart and give you the freedom to forgive. You will, without a doubt, find peace that you never experienced, and the person that you forgive will find that peace too.

Don’t put it off until it is too late. Do it now while it is a fresh thought. Always remember that un-forgiveness is a poison we take hoping it will destroy someone else. Selah (pause and think about it). Be blessed to be a blessing!

ABRAHAM PART 12
THE PROMISE REAFFIRMED

Upon returning to Beth-el, a dispute between Abram’s men and Lot’s men caused them to separate. Lot and his claN went east to the Plain of Jordan and Lot settled in Sodom. Abram went west and settled in the Plain of Mamre (Hebron). Lot followed the way “that looked good” while Abram followed “the way of peace.”

God again honored Abram by reaffirming His promise (Genesis 12:7) to give the land to his seed, his offspring. God expanded the promise. He told Abram in Genesis 13:14-17 to walk the land and God would give to him and his heirs everything he could see to the north, south, east, and west. It would remain with his heirs forever. Furthermore, his heirs would multiply so greatly that it would be impossible for man to number them.

Even though Abram had previously failed to follow in God’s prescribed way, yet as Abram returned, God reaffirmed and expanded His promise. God had chosen Abram to have a plan with an expected end as spoken by the prophet Jeremiah more than 1,300 years later. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thought that I think toward you…thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Nowhere is this promise more clearly seen and demonstrated than in the life of Abraham (Abram).

In fact, the word of the Lord to Jeremiah even said in Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV), “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you.” "Sanctified” means to be “set apart” for God’s purpose.

Just as Abram, Jeremiah, and all others were known of God before conception, and set apart for His divine purpose, so also were you set aside for Him. He knew your spirit even before you were conceived in your mother’s womb.

The quest in life is to find that purpose, that “expected end” which God had in mind for you. Seek His face diligently that He may lead you into it day by day. You may not know or “see” the end, but He will lead you into it…if you keep your heart sanctified unto him.

PROPHETIC WORD

Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they didn’t receive his visitation. Sadly, for much of the world he is weeping now knowing what’s about to take place.

He has sent his messengers and they have been rejected.

He has sent his watchmen, but they were ignored.

My heart weeps with him at the apostate rebellious conditions that have set the world up for the Antichrist to come on the scene. Oh, how it breaks his heart to know he gave his life blood for this generation that are rebellious and dull of hearing.

Oh, that there would be repentance, but they would not. The line has been drawn and for many there is no second chance.
PROPHETIC WORD

As posted on Facebook Prophetic Forum

I woke up this morning in the flow of the Holy Spirit hearing former VP Biden’s words, "This is a dark winter ahead.” I heard the Lord say: This will be a season where the lack that has been prophesied will be felt even more in the spiritual as those who do not know me or those who have chosen to outright refuse my Kingship will experience the removal of my “common grace.” My common grace allows all people to enjoy the benefits of my creation and experience the joy of basic moral balance. The scales of balance are tipping. They have never felt the withdrawal of this grace, because wickedness and rebellion have set its course, I will give them what they ask for. Even the empty forked-tongue leaders have unknowingly prophesied their own demise calling forth the “dark winter.” My love has been taken for granted and denied good soil for my grace to take root. So for this, the people who have refused me will suffer consequences of their own making. They will eat of their own corruptible stock piles which have no eternal or present satisfaction nor nourishment. They will come face-to-face with their own limited supplies. They will be snared by their own traps, the ones they set for the righteous. They will be confounded and confused because my piece of their paradigm is missing. They will be confused and grapple for provisions. In the long, dark winter, they will experience the grim reality of the rancid seeds they have sown. I will no longer be mocked. Do you not see I am the GREAT I Am.
This is the great divide. I see my people who have looked to me because my eyes are always searching for you, my beloved. “BUT THOSE who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint” Isaiah 40:31. God’s people will eat of my Word and carry my light. You will be satisfied and secure in my house. You will be my image bearers and will stand ready to share my love with those who have been broken. Do not turn away the repentant. Keep your hearts clean and free of offense for there is coming a time when the ones who mocked my name will repent and they will bow their knee – and you will need to stand with them with a pure, humble, and undefiled heart.
