Michael is a pastoral leadership and discipleship coach from Sydney, Australia. Through his work with Oilstone and Reach Australia, he has helped churches and leaders revitalize their culture around disciple-making, bringing a compelling perspective from the pew.

This is your chance to gain practical guidance on the everyday struggles of making disciples and learn how to overcome them. We want to help you take concrete steps toward lasting change and transformation.

Come and be inspired, challenged, and equipped to:

  • Grow deeper in your knowledge of God’s Word.
  • Love and obey God more fully in every area of your life.
  • Build up one another as a loving community.
  • Serve joyfully in ministry.
  • Share the gospel with others.

Let’s be a church marked by disciples who make disciples, all for God's glory.

Worthy is a 5-week study on identity in Christ. It explores the titles you have through your relationship with Jesus: child, heir, slave, and saint—and reveals how these titles impact your life’s journey for God’s glory.

Worthy | Embracing Your Identity in Christ will:

  • Break down how salvation transforms your identity.
  • Help you understand and walk out what God’s Word says specifically about your identity.
  • Compare what the world says vs. what God says about identity.
  • Guide you to embrace your eternal identity gained in Jesus and live securely in Him

Join us beginning October 21 to discover each day the truth in God’s Word about your identity, and become the image-bearing reflector of God’s glory you were designed to be. For more information email women@baysidebc.org.

Trunk or Treat is a great opportunity to engage our community. We can let our neighbors know we are here for them, praying for them, and care about them with a simple invitation to a fun event! As you go about your day, whether shopping, at work, a school event or just a walk in the park, look for those you can invite! Invite cards are available in the Welcome Center.

You can also help by making this event a fun experience for all! You can participate by decorating a trunk, being a greeter, helping with activities, serving on the engagement or security team and by helping to prepare for the event. Use the sign-up link to the left to volunteer.

Lay Counselor Training

You want to help, but you're not sure how...In our churches and communities, many people suffer alone-silently wondering if anyone sees or cares. You may feel inadequate or afraid of saying the wrong thing. But deep down, you want to help.

God calls each of us to engage those around us with hope, help, and truth. As part of our mission to help people know and follow Christ Jesus together, we invite you to a 3-session training led by Pastor Guy Kinney. You'll learn how to step into grace-filled conversations that reflect the compassion and wisdom of Christ.

Come be equipped to make a difference in the lives of the hurting-with the love and truth of Jesus at the center.
