Mary Magdalene Church is an inclusive church in the Catholic tradition where people from all faiths and backgrounds are welcome to the Lord's Table. Directly after Mass on June 22rd, we will picnic at Edmund Lyon Park. The church will provide hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings. We ask you to bring a dish to pass, anything you wish to drink, a chair, and reusable plates/silverware/cups. Set up and clean up helpers needed! Sign up sheets will be posted on the bulletin board. Please RSVP to Sue Gerber by June 19th if you want a hot dog, veggie dog or hamburger, but no matter what, plan to stop by and spend some time with us!

Meal Train Volunteers Needed!
What is Meal Train? There are times in our lives when friends and family ask, "What can I do to help out?" The answer is usually to help them with a meal. Meal trains are designed to offer support during challenging times, ensuring the recipient has healthy, nutritious meals without the burden of cooking. Please consider volunteering to provide a meal for our dear friends Binnie Thompson and Kathy Mrzywka who both are facing some health challenges. Click here to help out! If you find yourself in need of a meal train, please feel free to contact Sue Gerber who will put you in touch with our Hospitality Ministry.

All the lists have been combined onto one sheet and may be found on the table near Sue’s office. Whenever you have one to give, just place it in the sacristy. A member of the Social Justice Committee will get the kit(s) to WORLD RELIEF-WNY. Always, thank you for your generosity in supporting the mission to help refugees coming into Western New York!!! Click here for the combined lists.
East Rochester Resource Center - NEW!

~Deacon-in-Formation Corner~ |
My dear sisters and brothers,
With a heart full of gratitude, I want to share a special moment in my journey with you.
over the past year and a half, I’ve been walking a path of prayer, study, and discernment, preparing for ordination to the Diaconate.
It is with deep joy and humility, that I will soon be ordained as a permanent deacon, called to serve you – my beloved community – and to walk alongside you in faith, love, and service. This is not just my journey, but ours together, as we continue to grow as a church that reflects the compassion, love, and welcome of Christ to others.
Save the Date
Friday July 11, 2025

Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare for this next step, and know that I carry each of you in mine.
With much love as we walk in Jesus’ footsteps,
Betty

CALM Ministry
CALM Ministry is a ministry of listening. We believe the gift of listening helps to alleviate suffering and that the gift of presence is one of the greatest gifts we can offer another. If you are hurting or lonely, we have trained soul-listeners who offer time and space to truly listen in a confidential and non-judgmental manner. CALM Ministers are not counselors and do not offer advice. They do, however, offer a warm heart and a soft landing place. For more information, please see our brochure, or email Lori Cunliff at calm.ministry.mm@gmail.com
