Stewardship • Donations • Memorials

At Saint George we do not pass the trays during the Liturgy so please leave your Sunday offering and any candle money in the tray in the narthex as you enter the church.

You can scan the Venmo QR here or click for
credit cards; these can be used for stewardship, memorials, special donations, candles or a gift to the parish. There are also envelopes for checks and cash. If you are designating a gift for a birthday or anniversary, for a baptism or a name day, for someone who is sick or for a departed loved one, please add a memo to your donation so that these people can be remembered in the prayers.

Stewardship 2026: You can download a form here, which can be dropped off or mailed to the church. Stewardship (pledges) can also be made online, begin here.

Outreach

There are so many generous people helping their neighbors day by day; this is our calling and what a blessing when we respond with love and joy. Whether it is giving to the Norwood Food Pantry or Food for Hungry People during Lent, there are many opportunities for us to reach out as a parish (in addition to those which you and your family engage privately.) Let us not forget that we are in the midst of the coldest time of the year and there are too many people without warm clothes. So, from now until February 15th, there will be a basket in the narthex for contributions of new (or very gently worn) clothes, coats, hats and mittens. These will be delivered to Annie’s Closet, a Norwood organization to help those in need.

For everyone who helped out with the Nicholas Tree at Christmas, almost 100 gifts were delivered. This week we received a beautiful thank you note from the school nurse at the Oldham School saying how “very happy and thankful the families were for the generous and thoughtful gifts.”
