The Dormition Fast begins Saturday and continues through the 14th. 
Fish, wine and oil are permitted on the Transfiguration.

~ Stewardship • Donations • Memorials ~

At Saint George we do not pass the trays during the Liturgy so please leave your Sunday offering and money for votive candles in the tray in the narthex as you enter the church. 

Your donation can be used for stewardship, memorials or a gift to the parish. There are also envelopes for checks and cash. If you are designating a gift for a birthday or anniversary, for a baptism or a name day, for someone who is sick or for a departed loved one, please add a memo to your donation so that these people can be remembered in the prayers.
