In the second half of the spiritual journey, many of us begin to discover that the path inward is far less about certainty, conformity, or attempting to replicate someone else’s experiences of awakening, and far more about spiritual risk-taking and following the unique calling of our own soul. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of Richard Rohr, the wisdom of Jesus Christ, the transformational insights of Rasha, the Fillmores, and other respected spiritual voices, this interactive gathering will explore the sacred unfolding of the “second journey” — the later stage of life when inner listening becomes more important than external approval, and lived wisdom begins to replace inherited belief. Like snowflakes, no two spiritual journeys are ever exactly alike.
Together we will reflect on the tensions that arise when we compare and judge others’ paths, impose beliefs, and expect others to awaken in the same way
we have. Through discussion, contemplation, and shared insight, we will explore how this later stage of the journey invites us beyond rigid thinking and into greater compassion, discernment, and trust in Divine unfolding. Participants will be invited to honor the unique timing, expression, and lessons of their own soul’s path while understanding what happens energetically when we are called to interact with others, especially those who may not have yet attained a higher perspective. In these times of rapid transformation, the call to access the deeper wisdom of the second journey has never been greater.
