RHODESIDE REVIVAL is giving Rhode Islanders a unique way to make their state a little greener. What started as a composting club formed by three University of Rhode Island students back in 2013 is now a small business that benefits everyone involved. Two of the original three masterminds for the project --Conor MacManus, and Miguel Costa -- have taken the composting concept and scaled it up.

RI Compost Conference and Trade Show

Healthy Soils, Healthy Seas Rhode Island (HSHSRI) will participate in the annual RI Compost Conference & Trade Show on March 14th from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Sponsored by the Environmental Council of Rhode Island (ECRI) and the Rhode Island College Office of Sustainability, the conference features a slate of speakers from our developing RI Composting Industry and from around the country.

Backyard C omposting Workshop

The Healthy Soils, Healthy Seas Rhode Island (HSHSRI) project team will host a backyard composting workshop hosted by Aquidneck Community Table at Clean Ocean Access office. New and veteran composters are all welcome to join! The workshops aim to teach individuals the art and science of composting. Sign up for HSHSRI in advance or during the workshop.
