PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE

This week we will enter the season of Lent, and I encourage all of our families to consider attending our parish's Lenten Series. On Tuesdays participants can gather for prayer at Mass, followed by fellowship at a soup supper in the auxiliary gym. Following supper, children are invited to age-appropriate children’s programming and adults are invited to gather in prayer and reflection with a guest speaker. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith as a family!

SPOTTING GOSPEL VALUES

Mrs. Moore's class was recognized by Senora Marlatt for demonstrating the Gospel Value of Teamwork. They showed respect and honesty during Spanish class this week. Congratulations to Mrs. Moore's class and enjoy your dress down day!

WINTER BREAK

TUITION ASSISTANCE

The Indiana State Legislature approved a significant expansion of the Choice Scholarship program. They removed the eligibility pathways and increased the financial eligibility to 400% of the Free and Reduced Lunch amount. This change will make many more families from Saint Pius X eligible for a Choice Scholarship, thereby reducing tuition costs. The application process is straightforward and uncomplicated. You can start the process on online.factsmgt.com. If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Newsom mnewsom@stpius.net.
