GOSPEL VALUE SPOTTING

Congratulations to the 8th grade for winning this week's Gospel Value Spotting Award! They were nominated by Ms. Alexander for demonstrating compassion and respect by thanking their teachers after each class. They have been great role models for the rest of our middle school, and now the 6th graders have started to thank their teachers after class as well. The 8th grade has earned a dress down day Monday.

YCLAH COUPONS

Earlier this month your student brought home You Can Lend a Hand coupons. Participation in this program is completely voluntary.

Please return any funds raised or any unused coupons by February 28. This year, we are excited to offer an option to submit funds electronically - you can do so HERE.

All proceeds from this program directly benefit our school and help support special activities such as CSW celebrations, our stewardship program, and field trips. Thank you for your support!

ILEARN

Students are required to have their own working headphones or earbuds for ILEARN. We will not have any extras available. Please note that practice tests will take place from 3/17 to 3/28, and the actual tests will be from 4/14 to 5/9. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES

Last week, the Saint Pius X Student Council delivered the donations from this year's CSW Service Projects. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who generously contributed!

Over 400 books were donated to the Christ Child Society of South Bend. Through their "A Book for a Child" program, Christ Child ensures that every child they serve receives a book, and your donations have helped stock their bookshelves. Additionally, the Student Council assembled 60 birthday kits for Catholic Charities of South Bend. These kits will be distributed to Food Pantry recipients in March.

The Coordinator from Catholic Charities shared the following message:

Today, we had the joy of welcoming the bright and compassionate members of the Saint Pius X Student Council, who arrived with 60 cake kits and smiles as warm as freshly baked treats. For months, these young future leaders poured their hearts into gathering supplies, ensuring every kit was complete with all the ingredients needed to spread joy. Their dedication and generosity have made us one of the fortunate organizations chosen to receive these gifts, bringing moments of celebration to those we serve. Their kindness is a reminder that even the smallest acts of giving can create ripples of happiness that last a lifetime.
