The end of January marks Catholic Schools Week, a national celebration of Catholic education. This provides a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate Saint Pius X and the broader Catholic school community. We will host several fun events this week - see below for more information.

Congratulations to the entire 3rd grade class for winning this week's Gospel Value Spotting Award! They were nominated by the 3rd grade teachers and TAs for demonstrating the gospel value of compassion by supporting, encouraging, and praying for a fellow classmate. The 3rd grade will have a dress down day on Monday, February 3.

Eighth-grade trumpet player Leba Maskiny was accepted into the prestigious 2025 Indiana Junior All-State Band. Out of a competitive pool of hundreds of musicians, Leba was selected as one of the top trumpet players in the entire state. The experience culminated in a breathtaking performance at the Indiana Music Teachers Convention in Fort Wayne. Leba's achievement is a testament to his dedication and talent, marking an exciting milestone in his musical journey. Congratulations to Leba and his trumpet teacher, Mr. Heitger! Go Lions!
