PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE

Happy New Year! I hope that you've had a wonderful break filled with fun, relaxation, and time with family.

January is a busy month, especially when it comes to enrollment and registration. All current families should plan to re-enroll their children for the 2024-2025 school year in the next 2 weeks, with the process opening tomorrow (Monday) at 6:00 pm.

In Christ,

Chris Milliron

THANK YOU TO THE SPX COMMUNITY

Thank you to the Saint Pius X families and community for all of their support and generosity. We are grateful for our SPX family!

2024-2025 REGISTRATION

Enrollment opens for current students tomorrow at 6:00 pm. This includes new siblings for Saint Pius X Catholic School and Little Lions Preschool.

Make sure to check both emails from your letter. Each student will receive their own email and code.

LUNCH

Please consider serving the School Lunch Program. This service is not possible without volunteers. Volunteer HERE for January.

All volunteers are required to have safe environment training.

Ordering for February lunch will open tomorrow, Monday, February 8.

Free and reduced lunch application can be found HERE.

MINI GOLF

8th grade students designed, built and coded a 15-hole mini-golf course for students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade to play on the week before Christmas break. Each golf hole had at least one obstacle that moved! Make sure to check out the January Middle School Newsletter for more details and photos!

OPEN HOUSE

In previous years, the Open House was for prospective families only. However, following feedback from a variety of stakeholders, we’re expanding access to the event. Now, everyone is invited to join us! This is a great opportunity for current school families to explore their children’s classrooms and take a look at the amazing things happening at SPX!

GAMES & PUZZLES CLUB

Registration is open for January's Games and Puzzles Club!

Students in Kindergarten-5th grade are invited to sign up for this after school club. December dates are Thursday, January 11 and Thursday January 18. The club is offered from 3:00-3:50 in the Library. Club dues are $10/month.

You can sign up HERE!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

The Middle School Servant Leadership Club spent their evening making blankets for the Refugee Resettlement Program through the Saint Pius X Blanket Ministry. The kids also wrote notes and prayers to the refugees to be delivered with their blankets.

PARISH NEWS

Some of our very own SPX School parents have volunteered to lead a group for our upcoming Parish Book Program! The small group will be meeting at Martin's on Wednesdays from 9-10 am and they would love to invite other school parents to join them!

There is another group meeting on Tuesdays at 9:30 am which is very family-friendly (little ones can come play while parents are discussing the books), as well as many evening options. You can find all of the small groups HERE and more information on the program HERE.
