PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE

I was blown away by the amazing art and performances at our March to the Arts event last Wednesday! Our students are so talented and creative! Special thanks are due to the many volunteers and staff that made the night possible. In particular, I'd like to thank Amy Eycleshymer, Tara Schmitt, Joan Doyle, Sam Kneibel, Craig Heitger, Ashley Sicinski, and our HASA volunteers for their hard work and dedication to our students!

In Christ,

Chris Milliron

ROSARY

We will be hosting a rosary for our students who are battling cancer and other illnesses on Thursday, March 20, at 3:15 PM in the church. All are welcome to attend. If you plan to join us, please wait until the dismissal car line has cleared before parking near the church.

GOSPEL VALUE SPOTTING

Congratulations to our 2nd graders for winning this week's Gospel Value Spotting award! They were nominated for being respectful and well-behaved on their field trip this week. The entire 2nd grade has earned a dress down day Tuesday.

SCHOOL MASS

We warmly invite all parents and guardians to join us for school Mass! Here is our schedule for this week:

Wednesday, March 19 - 8:45 am - Mass - Kindergarten-1st grade

Thursday, March 20 - 8:45 am - Mass - 2nd-8th grades

CRS RICE BOWL

This week's prayer:

We pray for Amina,

and for all parents

striving to feed their children

with nutritious food.

May their families have

healthy and hunger-free futures.

Amen

MARCH TO THE ARTS

March to the Arts was an amazing success! Thank you to Ms. E, Mrs. Schmitt, Mrs. Kneibel, Mrs. Doyle, Mr. Heitger, all of our living statues, and to everyone who donated their time and talent to make this event a truly wonderful experience!

4th GRADE STEWARDSHIP

The Saint Pius X Step-by-Step Stewardship Program is a vital part of our school’s Catholic identity, teaching students to be good stewards of God’s gifts through prayer, service, and sacrificial giving. Each grade focuses on a specific stewardship theme each year.

This year, the 4th grade is focusing on people with disabilities. Students are learning about local organizations that support individuals with disabilities and celebrating differences.

Last week, the 4th graders visited Corvilla's Granger location for a tour and to learn about the opportunities they provide. Corvilla offers life-enhancing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting respect and dignity in the community. The Granger location also features Corvilla Furnishings, which offers Amish-quality furniture with a mission.

WATER BOTTLES

With warmer spring temperatures arriving, please remember to send your student with a water bottle! If they've lost theirs, feel free to stop by Lost & Found to check for it.

ILEARN

ILEARN testing begins on April 14, immediately following Spring Break. Missing this day will cause students to fall behind, as they will miss important instructional time while making up the test. Please ensure that your students are present during the ILEARN testing window to avoid these setbacks.

LUNCH

Lunch ordering for April is now open through March 20. You can order lunches HERE.

Lunch service is not possible without volunteers. All volunteers are required to have safe environment training.
