The entire Saint Pius X community is invited to attend our Spring Band Concert this Wednesday at 6:00 at the Chris Wilson Pavilion next to the Potawatomi Zoo. We are blessed with a truly outstanding middle school band and they are excited to perform at this event!

Also, on behalf of our entire staff I would like to extend special thanks to all of the students and families who made us feel so loved during Teacher Appreciation Week! The outpouring of food, gifts, flowers and cards was extraordinary and made us feel very thankful to be a part of this community.

Congratulations to Mrs. Moore's class for winning this week's Gospel Value Spotting Award. They were nominated by Mrs. Brumbaugh for demonstrating the gospel value of teamwork this week in PE class. They went above and beyond working to help each other with jump rope skills - encouraging, demonstrating, giving cues, and challenging each other to be better! Mrs. Moore's class will have a dress down day on Monday.

The theme for Arts in Bloom this year is FOOD! To celebrate, Fox's Smoke "N" Grill food truck and Paddy Shack Ice Cream will be available for purchase 3:30-6:00 pm.

Please help the Memorare Ministry as we prepare a special scrapbook gift for Fr. Bill's retirement from Saint Pius X! All submissions are due by June 15th and can be placed in the bin located outside of the Parish Office (please label with Jenae Newberg's name for pickup).

Some ideas include:

• A short thank you/congratulations on retirement note
• A letter (as long or short as you like) with stories/memories
• Photo scrapbook pages (must fit a large paper size scrapbook)
• Memories and photos can be from school events and celebrations, baptisms, First Communion, Confirmation, weddings, RCIA, etc!
