On Thursday, K-8 parents and guardians are invited to come to our Open House, where you can visit your child’s classrooms, meet their teachers, and familiarize yourself with our school. Teachers will be sharing important information and this is a great opportunity for fellowship - I encourage everyone to attend. See below for details. Thank you!

In Christ,

Chris Milliron

LABOR DAY HOLIDAY

DISMISSAL

Please remember the following:

  • Do not drive around the cars in front of you.
  • There is no left turn onto SR 23 at any time.
  • Do not be on your cell phone.
  • When you see kids walking, turn off your car. We know it's hot, but it's even worse for the kids and teachers walking through all the cars that are running.

FEAST OF SAINT PIUS X

SEPTEMBER PRAYER

Our prayer of the month for September is the Hail Mary. We invite all Saint Pius X families to join us in praying the Hail Mary at home throughout the month.

SCIENCE FUN

To start off the year, 6th grade science students had a "Paper chain race" using one piece of paper. The activity helped students practice collaborative talk, problem solving, and teamwork skills needed in the science lab.

FAMILY HANDBOOK

This year, we’ve once again streamlined the back-to-school process by consolidating all required paperwork into a single Google Form.

Step 1: Please review the Family Handbook to familiarize yourself with the policies and important information.

Step 2: After reading the handbook, complete the Google Form to confirm your acknowledgment of the policies and other necessary details. Completing this form is mandatory for all families.

ATTENDANCE EMAIL

Are you familiar with our attendance email - attendance@stpius.net?

Use it to report absences, request an early dismissal for an appointment or any transportation changes. Please copy the child’s teacher and anyone else that would be involved with the request.

LUNCH

The ordering window for October lunch will open Tuesday, September 3. You can order lunches through September 20th.

Please consider serving the School Lunch Program. This service is not possible without volunteers. Volunteer HERE for September.

All volunteers are required to have safe environment training.

Free and reduced lunch application can be found HERE.

Join us for Meet the Coaches Night at Saint Joseph High School September 16 at 6:00 pm. This is the perfect opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn about our athletics programs and meet the dedicated coaches who lead our teams. The Marian Knights Girls Basketball Programs' youth development mission is to offer girls in our catholic schools the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball, while instilling lifelong lessons and values such as character, teamwork, integrity, discipline, respect and sportsmanship. Our coaching staffs' goal is to grow the sport of girls basketball in Christ's image, by paving the way for our girls to shine at school, in the community, and on the basketball court.
