UPCOMING SCHEDULE CHANGES
As we continue to see a rise in COVID cases, we will continue to avoid using our small group rooms and therefore will not have worship care or Sunday school this Sunday. We will also combine our services to have one service in the Worship Center. We have increased our socially distant seating areas, and as always, it is a good idea to wear masks during COVID surge events. As more information becomes available, we will keep you updated on what events and programming we are able to provide in the weeks ahead. Please remember, if you do not feel well or are exhibiting any cold/flu-like symptoms, please stay at home and engage in worship online through Geyer Springs FBC Facebook and YouTube. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let Jason know at jmiller@gsfbc.org.
DEACON ELECTION
The deacons at Geyer Springs are men who are qualified servants to help minister to our church family. Specifically they lead our ministry to widows, serve in our prayer ministry, help unify the church body, and come alongside our pastor and staff by carrying out our mission and vision in a variety of ways. Qualifications for deacon include a love and commitment to the Lord, a love and commitment to his wife and family, a passion for our mission and vision, and a faithfulness in giving and serving the church. If you would like to nominate someone to be considered as a deacon, please email Pastor Jason at jmiller@gsfbc.org by January 23.
MARCH FOR LIFE
The 44th annual March for Life is this Sunday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. The March for Life is a peaceful demonstration that gives us the opportunity to remind our nation and our leaders that we stand for life.

The march will begin on West Capitol between Battery Street and Wolfe Street (BEHIND the state capitol building). Take Exit 2B and drive north on Marshall Street if coming from the west or north on MLK Drive if coming from the east. Turn left on West 7th and then right on Battery Street. Dress is casual; wear comfortable shoes.
MPAC
THURSDAY EVENINGS | 6:00PM - 8:00PM | SANDERS HALL
Are your parenting responsibilities continuing into your children’s adulthood? At MPAC, you will be grounded in God’s Word and reminded that your relationship with your adult children hinges on your relationship with God. This book study on Empty Nest, Full Life by Jill Savage will begin January 27, and you can register online at gsfbc.org/women. For more information on our MPAC ministry, contact Cyndi Wilkerson at cwilkerson829@gmail.com.
BOOK GIVEAWAY
With Joe Statton and Max Pyron retiring, they have a large library of books they want to share with the church! There are three bookshelves near the set of double doors in the West Hallway full of books, and we would love for you to take as many as you would like!
HOSPITALITY MINISTRY UPDATE
We are in the process of ramping up our Hospitality Ministry in the areas of greeting, ushering, guest services, hosting, etc. If you have served in one of these areas in the past and would like to serve again, if you are currently serving and would like to continue serving, or if you have never served in one of these capacities but would like to do so in the future, please contact Kim Bailey at kbailey@gsfbc.org or 501-455-3474. This will help us tremendously as we evaluate our current hospitality needs and onboard additional people to serve in this important ministry.

Please note: if you are already a part of the Connection Team in the Venue Service, thank you so much for serving! You do not need to contact Kim.
