Dear Families,
Part of celebrating Eastertide is finding the joy of the season. And while the Easter baskets and jelly beans have been put away (mostly), it's still pretty easy to find. This past Sunday, after interacting with the story of the Resurrection of Jesus, our Sunday School students had fun moving their bodies with hula hoops. There was a lot of laughter, exclaiming, and jumping around-perfect Eastertide joy.
We will be outside again this week, so if you are still looking for some of that special joy, come along, and we can find some together.
While continuing my search for joy in God's beautiful creation, I was excited to find both natural beauty and a pop-up art installation at Bataquitos Lagoon. The artwork is vibrant, lovely, and fits in perfectly with the plants and wildlife you will see on the path. They even have art activities for children next Saturday the 14th from 4-6pm and Sunday the 15th from noon-2pm. My niece helped with the artwork and will be there for the activities, so make sure you tell her hi from St. Andrew's (she will be looking for you!).
Wishing you beauty, wildlife, and joy this week.
Easter Blessings,
-Erin
