Sunday School packets were mailed today! If you don't receive one by Friday, please email me.
Dear St. Andrew's families,
Like most of us, I have no idea when we will get back to in-person Sunday school. But I still want to provide families with adaptable in-home (and non-Zoom) practices that help feed your spiritual needs while also reminding our children that God's light continues to shine on them and through them, even in the rocky times of our lives.
I've mailed you (if I have your address) a family-centered, multi-generational introduction and reflection on The Beatitudes. It is timely and timeless, beautifully presented, and should provide good food for discussion for all ages.
The packet includes a Family Page and coloring pages for each week of the first six weeks of the 12 week program. Look in my weekly Wednesday email for each week's video and activity. This week we talk about what it means to be blessed. Click to see this week's activity and this week's video (presented by our friends at St. Paul's Cathedral).
I hope you enjoy sharing The Beatitudes with your family!
In addition to being fun for kids and parents to do, it's easy and encouraged to enlist grandparents, Godparents, older siblings, or family friends as stand ins for some, or all of the weeks!
