This past Wednesday, March 15, marked the first day of CrossOver Healthcare Ministry’s HIV treatment program in its new location at CrossOver’s Henrico Clinic. The HIV clinic moved from CrossOver’s Richmond Clinic to the Henrico Clinic location following a major remodel on the Henrico Clinic’s second floor.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer this new, beautiful space for our clients,” says Ryan White and STD prevention program manager, Milenka Rocha. “With added exam rooms, a dedicated waiting area, consultation rooms, and adequate office space for case management, this relocation means we can treat more clients in a dignifying space designed specifically for them. We want them to feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable.”

CrossOver is the only permanent charitable clinic administering HIV testing and treatment in western Henrico to uninsured clients. HIV program clients will have access to comprehensive healthcare including primary care, specialty care, pediatrics, dental, vision, mental health counseling, women’s health & OB/GYN, medications and medications management, and case management.

CrossOver's HIV Cclinic has been providing HIV testing and treatment since 1991. Our very own Dr. Vivian Bruzzese, director of HIV programs, is one of our most tenured staff at CrossOver, and this month celebrated 26 years with us. In addition to treating HIV, CrossOver's HIV clinic, thanks to Dr. Bruzzese, is also able to treat Hepatitis C.
