"Centenary shares God's love this Valentine's Day"

Children's Virtual Valentine's Celebration on February 13th

Centenary's children and families celebrated this year's Valentine's day in a meaningful way. 15 children and Sunday School teachers enjoyed this virtual gathering with singing, dancing, crafts, and time to learn what the bible says about love.

College care package ministry

Provide care packages to college students to let them know that they are loved and uphold them in our prayers. This year, Centenary's college care package ministry team delivered Valentine's cookies to 11 college students.

"Lent in a Bag"

You may pick up your “Lent In a Bag” at Centenary UMC beginning Monday (February 15) from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. (Arrangements will be made for those not able to stop by the church to pick up your bag – just contact Pastor Sooah or Mary in the Church Office). Blessings to all!

"Lenten Bible Study"

The study will be led by Pastor Sooah and Bob Carlson. The group will be limited to eight people so everyone will have an opportunity to participate in the discussion. Each session will begin with a 15-minute video and 40-minute discussion. When the group has been assembled, we will select a meeting time that is convenient for everyone.

If you would like to be part of this group, please call or email Mary in the church office by February 22nd. (732-548-7622 or [email protected])

We encourage participants to buy Rev. Hamilton's book, which is available through Cokesbury ($18.99) and Amazon($22.49) or $13.99 on Kindle.

"Celebration of Found Cans"

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!

YOUR FOOD DONATIONS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Centenary made another great collection! This time we collected 167 items, MCFOODS picked up the food on February 17th. The green donation bin for non-perishable food items is out in front of Centenary UMC’s door every Wednesday (9 a.m. – 12 noon) and Sunday (11 a.m. – Noon) mornings. Let's help make a dent in food insecurity! Just pull into Centenary’s driveway (at 200 Hillside Avenue in Metuchen) and drop off an item or two (or more)! Thanks to all for your support!

"Prayer Request"

If you have a request for prayer, or a joy you would like to lift up, please send your requests to: [email protected]

The requests will be passed along to Pastor Sooah. Please keep us updated on your requests.
