SOCIAL MINISTRY

Thanks so much to all who have signed up for contributions to the January Faith Kitchen chili lunch. All that's needed now are: 10 pounds of ground beef, 10 cans (the 28 oz. size) of crushed tomatoes, and plenty of fresh fruit. Your offerings are due in the Parish Hall kitchen on Sunday, January 13, just one week from this Sunday.

HOMELESS SOLUTIONS

We're off to a strong start for 2019 Homeless Solutions dinners--many thanks to all who've volunteered for this vital ministry to our neighbors! The months of May, June, July, and August are still available. If you have an interest, Maureen Budd would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

The week we pray for our friends

Colleen and Jeff Petersen
and their children Jessie and Josh

Peter Pfaffenroth

Rudy and Denise Pillmeier

2019 Altar Flowers

The 2019 Altar Flower calendar is posted on the bulletin board. Please consider donating flowers at least one week of the calendar year. Altar flowers are a ministry of the congregation, and also enhance the beauty of our worship services. By contacting Vivian Morrison, you can make arrangements to have them delivered to a member of our church family.  "Since flowers are a part of the beauty and frailty of creation, and are symbolic of our joy in Christ as well as earthly finitude, they are used universally to adorn worship spaces."   (Altar Guild and Sacristy Handbook)   Isaiah 40:8
