The Moon passed between the Sun and Earth on Aug. 12, 2026, creating a total solar eclipse visible across parts of Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, the Atlantic Ocean, Spain, and Portugal. Tanya wrote: Dear Brother Buddy! We THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your support - "IN CHRIST we have a FRIEND!" Thank God!

We are still here meeting together with our small congregation. My mother went to the Lord in April; she was 85 years old. Matvey (Matthew) graduated from school. (graduation photo). Lyosha (older son) works.

We have some problems with housing - we were asked to vacate the rented apartment where we have lived for a long time. We need to look for other housing although it is difficult even in our village. The Lord knows everything!

Thank you for remembering us, for your prayers and love! And we LOVE you! Blessings to you!

Homes Needed

Two Families Waiting

A house means many things. After a loss, it is a place to feel secure, to belong, and to start over. For Galina, the new homeowner that we visited last year, it is a place to bake, to receive company and to tell your story. It is also a place to have your weekly Bible study.

If everything goes according to plan, by the time this update arrives, a new house will have been delivered to the family in Brovary. Pray for their new beginning.

Baptism in Poltava

Eleven people were baptized into the fellowship of Bethlehem Church in Poltava. Notice in the photo below what an amazing and surprising witness that they had to others enjoying the water.

Pastor Slava has been busy supervising the construction of a new fence and a children's day camp at the church.

Pastor V is a relatively new ministry partner for Ukraine Challenge. This is the first time there has been a report on his camp. Previous stories have covered the youth ministry programs held in his church. ("Training the Trainers") This investment in current youth leaders and future ministers is noteworthy.
