Happy Thanksgiving Break!
Congratulations to the amazing Lancer Regiment on a great marching band season! The Lancers placed 6th out of 22 at Irvine High School in the 4A Championships and qualified to advance to the State Championship. They will perform at Huntington Beach High School at 5:15 pm this Saturday, November 23rd. Go, Lancers!
AVID announced our Senior Standout Layla Andre in addition to our four other finalists, Aly Chow, Karina Saab, Lillian Foster, and Enoch Han. All students get to apply for the Orange County AVID Senior Scholarship worth up to $24,000 and the Angels Baseball Scholarship which could pay for 4 years of college. Congratulations to these outstanding AVID seniors!

ASB collaborating with Pathways of Hope to host another Miracle Minute fundraiser to donate holiday gifts to those in need. Donations were collected in students' Period 2 classes throughout the week.

Our Mock Trial team competed in the CRF-OC Mock Trial Competition for the first time in years and did amazing! Irene Park from The Accolade and Joanna Joo from COFA even acted as the team's courtroom journalist and artist! Our team had so much fun collaborating and learning more about the program and legal profession.

Students in our EPIC Engineering Pathway completed a Community Service project this week as well that centered around repurposing materials for another use. A great hands-on experience!

COFA hosted a Visual Arts Exhibition in the PAC to showcase amazing pieces of art from our Lancers!

Our Korean language classes collaborated with a guest instructor to learn proper Korean calligraphy.
Finally, thank you to our amazing PTSA for providing "A Thankful Celebration" staff luncheon today! PTSA always makes our staff feel so loved and appreciated! We are so thankful for them!
