Hello, Lancer Families!
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, ASB prepared everyone for Homecoming...
Well, they actually began doing that this week with the HoCo Theme Release video, Class Character Release, and HoCo Court meeting. Tickets for the dance are already on sale in the SHHS Webstore, and you do not want to miss this one, Lancers! Prices go up the closer we get to the dance, which is set for Saturday, September 19, and looks to be out of this world with a Star Wars theme!
Our Seniors celebrated the start of their final year on the Hill with their annual Senior Sunrise celebration. It was a great turnout, and everyone enjoyed a fun early morning making memories together!
This week was also highlighted by our annual Back to School Night, which was a huge success again due to an excellent turnout by our parents to see their students' classes, meet their teachers, and get to know the campus. With such great community support, the year ahead is going to be amazing!
Lancer Athletics continued their strong Fall Season, as Girls Flag Football won games over Katella and Jordan. Meanwhile, Boys Water Polo scored a big win over Garden Grove, 22-10. In front of a packed stadium, Lancer Football kicked off its season with our first Friday Night Lights en route to a 20-13 win over Westminster. The Lancer Regiment Marching Band performed at halftime along with a stellar Dance Production performance.
Next week is Club Rush on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Break in the Quad - don't miss out on all the clubs you can get involved with this year!
