Happy Thanksgiving Break, Lancers!
Despite some technical difficulties this past week, our Lancer Family has so much to be grateful for heading into Thanksgiving Break.
SHHS pressed on together in so many outstanding ways during our "no tech" days! It was amazing to see our students continue learning despite no internet and our teachers going "old school" in the classroom. We greatly appreciated everyone's flexibility and patience this week!
Also, our wonderful PTSA provided a bountiful Thanksgiving feast for our Lancer staff on Thursday as a way of saying, "Thank you," to our staff for all of their hard work and dedication to our students so far this year.
Finally, we received great news with our 2022-23 CAASPP Test results as our Lancers did an outstanding job demonstrating their learning last year. We saw tremendous improvements in meeting or exceeding standards across all three areas:
- English +7%
- Math +11%
- Science +9%
Our Lancers also continued to outperform other schools across Orange County and the entire state. We are so proud of our Lancer teachers and students for the academic excellence that defines SHHS!
