Happy Friday, Lancers!
What a fun FFA Week here on campus this week, culminating with today's Kiss the Cow "winner," Mr. Reveles, having his moment in the sun to kiss the cow at break. The week's celebrations also included country line dancing, trivia contests, pies in the face of FFA officers, and a petting zoo. Our Ag Sciences pathways are some of the most engaging programs on campus, and it is always fun to celebrate all that they do!
Next week, we have COFA Spirit Week to recognize our outstanding Lancer visual and performing artists with campus-wide fun. Other celebrations from this past week included:
-
The Spring Musical, Matilda, opens next week - see below to get your tickets!
-
The Muse Club hosted an amazing Battle of the Bands concert in the PAC.
-
New student leadership opportunities for the 2026-27 school year are now available within ASB, Link Crew, and as the Student Board Member. See below for more details.
This week also saw a large group of Lancer student-athletes participate in this year's Women in Sports Conference on Monday. Spring Athletics began their seasons this week as well, with baseball winning its first two games and softball winning its season opener. Boys Volleyball, Tennis, and Golf also started off their seasons well. Track and Field competes tomorrow at Fullerton District Stadium in the annual city meet. Go, Lancers!
Finally, be sure to watch this week's episode of Sunny Side Up below, as well as scroll down for more information about this past week, the week ahead, and so much more! Also, remember to check your email, the SHHS website, and SH social media often for more important information as well.
Have a great weekend!
