Happy Spring Break, Lancers:
We have made it through three-quarters of the school year and to a much-deserved week off of school. I want to thank everyone for making this school year a success so far. I also want to encourage all our Lancers to enjoy their rest this next week so that each one of you will come back rejuvenated.
Lancer Nation would like to recognize our long-time custodial supervisor, Danny Rodriguez, who has accepted a new position as the District Custodial Supervisor for the Centralia Elementary School District. Danny will now oversee eight elementary schools and his last day on the Hills will be Friday, March 31st. It is truly the end of an era for our school community and it has been a privilege to have had Danny here. I have appreciated his dedication to Sunny Hills, and most importantly, to our Lancers. On behalf of his entire Lancer Family, we want to wish Danny the best in this new position - we know he is going to do great things! Again, thank you, Danny, for everything you have done for our students, our staff, our parents, and our campus.
We look forward to having all of our Lancers back on campus on March 27th for the start of the 4th Quarter.
