Wednesday March 15th at 8:15am SSR Cafeteria Join the PTA tomorrow, Wed, March 15th, for an Open Meeting at 8:15am in the school cafeteria. Lindsey Hellenbrand will do a short presentation on Zones of Regulation curriculum and we will also be going over upcoming PTA business. *Donuts, coffee and crafts for young kiddos. See you tomorrow! SPRING CARNIVAL planning is in full swing!

Have toys your kids barely touched? Have holiday gifts they never opened and likely won't? Donate them to the Spring Carnival Prizes! A collection box will be placed out by the front entry way for your student to drop them off.   Want a different way to donate the bigger prizes? The PTA has created an amazon "wish list" for bigger prize items which will be used for prizes and raffle item bundles. Attention SSR 4th Graders!

4th Grade Yearbook Cover Contest - CORRECTION! Yearbook cover contest should state 2022 - 2023 school year. There was a typo on the form that went home. If your 4th grader turned it in with the wrong year, you can have them resubmit. Entries are due next week March 22nd.

Open PTA meeting Wednesday March 15th

Third time's a charm?! Please join us on Wed, March 15th at 8:15am for our Open PTA meeting where we will be hearing from our school counselor, Lindsey Hellenbrand. Non-school age kiddos are welcome and we will have a St. Patty's Day craft for them to work on. Join us for some coffee, donuts, meet and greet and learn more about our school counseling curriculum. Professional Development Day at Sunset Ridge

All SSR staff gathered today in the gym for a group Kinesthetic Training held by our awesome guest speaker Jenni Wolfe. Our staff consistently works towards learning new developmental skills that will create new and fun ways to make our curriculum within our school social and interactive for our students. PD Days are such a great way for our teachers to bond and grow and strive to create exciting experiences for our students!

If your child wears boots to school please make sure to bring shoes as well!

We are looking for shoe donations for gym class. A friendly reminder that the shoes that are collected that are in the gym are for students that need shoes for PE class only and not for kiddos that wore boots to school.  Too often shoes have been borrowed for all day use and when it comes time for PE there are shoes missing sizes - especially for the younger /smaller feet. Please remind students to pack appropriate shoes if they are wearing boots to school.
