Thanks to a generous private donation, two individuals who are vision impaired have received Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses to help support greater independence and everyday accessibility. The glasses use built-in artificial intelligence, voice controls and hands-free audio to assist with tasks such as identifying objects, reading printed text aloud, describing surroundings, and answering questions in real time. For individuals who are vision impaired, this technology can provide increased confidence while navigating daily activities, accessing information more independently and staying connected with others through simple voice interaction.
