Fruit Facts: The Gold Rush apple is derived from Golden Delicious as the seed parent, with crosses from several other varieties including Winesap, Melrose, and Rome Beauty. Raspberry Ridge Sheep Creamery
|
Rob will feature a variety of nutritiously rich sheep cheeses this Saturday. Did you know that sheep dairy products are super healthy and easier to digest than cow's milk? The lactose is a smaller molecule so it breaks down more readily. Also sheep milk has the "A2" protein which is shown to be increasingly helpful in digestion. And because Raspberry Ridge's sheep are pasture raised, their milk is high in omega 3's which is good for circulation.
This week Rob will have blue cheese, manchego, Rose's Ridge, spreadables, gouda, feta and halloumi. Stop by and select a variety of sheep cheeses for a holiday cheese platter!
