Dayton Quilt Company & Dayton Laundry

We are excited to shine the spotlight on two new adventures that opened recently in downtown Dayton. Ken & Amy Cox and their entire support network (aka family & friends) are ecstatic to share the Dayton Quilt Company and Dayton Laundry with the community. The shops are located at 270 E. Foodstock 2026

Foodstock 2026 will be held at Blue Mountain Station in Dayton on Saturday, July 18, from 10AM to 3Pm

This year’s event features a variety of great eats and cool treats! You’ll also enjoy live music and activities, such as splashing down a water slide, making tie-dye shirts, stringing beads, face painting and playing yard games. Plus, browse the booths of local artists and crafters.

Admission to the family-friendly event is always FREE, so come and have a great time!

The first Foodstock in Dayton was held in August of 2015 on the anniversary date of Woodstock. The idea originated with Regina Weldert, who owned Rey's Roast. Since 2015, the annual date has moved to the third Saturday of July to coincide with Dayton’s Alumni Weekend.

SCHEDULE of EVENTS

Friday, July 17, 2026:

Evening: Class Float Gatherings - Alumni will start arriving to join their classmates, reminisce, and work on class floats to show their Bulldog Pride and compete for the traveling trophy in the parade on Saturday morning.

Saturday, July 18, 2026:

10AM - ALUMNI PARADE on Main Street - Show your RED and GOLD - Bulldog Pride

11AM – ANNUAL MEETING at the Depot Courtyard. Float winners announced, and a 50/50 drawing will be held. 

NOON – Support our local restaurants for lunch or dinner

1-3PM – Pietryski/Dayton High School Open House. Walk down memory lane and reminisce with classmates while touring the High School

Evening – Class dinners and gatherings (organized by each class)

Dayton Ducktona 500

The Columbia County Parks & Recreation District is excited to introduce the first-ever Dayton Ducktona 500!

Join us Saturday, July 18th at Dayton City Park for a day of community fun, food, activities, and of course, a duck race for a great cause. Community activities begin at 11:30 AM, with the ducks hitting the water at 1:00 PM!

This event was created to bring our community together while supporting the future community pool project, and we hope it's the beginning of a fun new Dayton tradition!

Duck adoptions are available now through local sellers. For added convenience, we've also introduced a QR code payment option this year, making it easy to purchase your ducks wherever you are with PayPal!

We can't wait to see everyone at the park!

Evening at the Depot

In just three weeks time, on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at 6 pm, an annual tradition will arrive at the station. Get your tickets today for the ever-popular Evening at the Depot Benefit Auction that supports the daily operations of the Dayton Historic Depot Museum.

Auction items include travel packages, game tickets, local art, local experiences, theater tickets, spa and beauty treatments, unique gift baskets, and so much more! The event will include a free Depot logo drink glass with food by A Chef’s Creation, a live musical performance by Calico Bones, and live and silent auctions.
