Psychology today describes confidence as "a belief in oneself, the conviction that one has the ability to meet life’s challenges and to succeed - and the willingness to act accordingly." There is something that happens when you practice yoga consistently. You feel your body become stronger and your mind thinks clearer. You stand a little taller and can speak your mind with conviction. In aerial yoga a skill that you once struggled with becomes simple to you. These are small ways you can build your confidence.
In February of 2019, Landry walked into the studio at 13 years old. Since then I have watched her explode with talent, work ethic and confidence. Landry has grown in front of our eyes and we are so proud of the woman she is growing into. Landry will lead her very own Sunshine Kids Yoga class starting today at 1:00 pm. "In February 2019 I was in search of an aerial and yoga studio and took my first aerial class with Jennifer. Though I struggled in the beginning, I had come to realize that not only had I found an aerial and yoga studio but I had found a place where I could let go of everything from my outside busy lifestyle and also be surround by so many incredible people who have all helped to get me where I am today. About a year into taking classes Jennifer had mentioned that they were adding a kids class to the schedule. I almost immediately asked if I could come and help out with the class, as I had been teaching at my taekwondo class for a while at this point and I really enjoyed teaching. I believe it was that night when it was agreed that I could come up to be an assistant. After about another year in late 2020 I was able to participate in teacher training which broadened my knowledge of my aerial practice and even my yoga practice. All of this led me to now, which is having my own class and I am so very grateful to have this opportunity.
Outside of the sunshine yoga shack, I participate on my schools dance team and taekwondo. At home I live with my amazing parents who I am so thankful for as they have also helped me on this journey and of course my four crazy dogs who bring so much laughter and joy into my life.'

The sign up for our 6th Annual Aerial Showcase Performers at Reds Roadhouse in Kennedale on October 22nd, is under our events. The registration is open to anyone who wishes to perform. Check out the link below. There will be a $100 non refundable charge to preform this year. The children will have a separate performance around Christmas, so adults only.
Our Aerial crew will preform this year at Mansfield Music Alley Festival so mark the date Saturday, April 30th, in Historic Downtown Mansfield. We will perform at 8 pm, come and support us.
