Erin Hanson has some wonderful poetry which have inspired me over the years. The words above inspired me to open the studio and are one of the reasons I took the chance. We all hear the little voice in the back of our head that can talk us out of taking a chance, making a move, or going all out into any endeavor. In times of opportunity, list all the cons and listen to all of the difficulties but then think 'What if I fly?'
When we have a consistent yoga practice, it creates a space for our mind to silence all of the negative voices. At the same time, our pranayama, or yogic breathe is reducing cortisol (the stress hormone) and increasing serotonin (the happy feel good hormone). This can create confidence and positive self image. You might even learn to fly...
The aerial crew will be flying at Mansfield Music Alley Festival, so mark the date Saturday, April 30th in Historic Downtown Mansfield. We will perform at 8 pm, come and support us.

Reiki Certifications and Attunements will be in June we will offer Reiki level one. Perfect to help align your energy and heal yourself. In July we will offer Reiki level two for those experienced with Reiki one and ready to take the next step to work on others. Reiki Mastership will be offered on a private, per person basis. Pricing for these opportunities, Level one $150, Level two $250 and Mastership $500.
Aerial Teacher Training is back and scheduled for June 18th and 19th. This will be an opportunity for 25 CECs with Yoga Alliance. In this training we will review yoga, the roots and history, the science and the energetic qualities and then learn how it applies to aerial hammocks. We will brake down basic aerial skills and how to teach them safely to all body types and experience levels. This training includes one month of membership to take the required aerial classes.
Calling all Aerialist! Sign up to perform and be a part of A Land of Pure Imagination, our 6th Annual Aerial Showcase at Reds Roadhouse in Kennedale on October 22nd, is under our events. The registration is open to anyone who wishes to perform. Check out the link below. There will be a $100 non refundable charge to preform this year. The children will have a separate performance around Christmas, so only adult aerials register please.
