We are winding down 2021 and winding up for Holiday parties and the New Year. The past few weeks my schedule has been very full and now it's time to slow down and enjoy time with friends and family. At the studio, when class is in savasana it fills my heart with love and satisfaction to see everyone relaxed and reaping the benefits of their yoga practice. We all work so hard in our daily life. I hope you take time over the next few weeks to enjoy the season.
If you came by the sip and shop Saturday we appreciate you. If you missed out keep an eye on social media as we will be posting some fun items to buy for yourself or to give as gifts.
Sunshine has added content to our Blog section of the web page. Check out the latest blog 'How Yoga can help with Holiday Tension and Stress.' The link is below.
The pose of the week is Lizard pose or Uttthan Pristhanasa. A deep stretch from the back of the body. I love this pose as it gives you time to release and let go. It can be done with the back knee down or lifted. Place your hands on the inside of your front foot and slowly ease down onto your forearms. The hips will release forward when they are ready. As always, do not force your body into this pose. Use a slow and steady breath and soften around the edges.
We have one spot remaining to join Sunshine School of Yoga's 200 Hour Teacher Training. We begin on January 15th and we will meet one weekend a month. The space is first come first serve and the next opportunity to join will be in August. See the link below.
Our Holiday Special is an amazing deal. Buy 4 yoga or aerial classes for $69. This is a great price and you can keep it for yourself or give it as a gift.
Keep in mind, yoga has wonderful benefits but it only works if you make time to practice. Please book your classes for this week with the link below.
Love and Light,
Lynn
