Greetings from Turks and Caicos. I'm home now but I spent the last 7 days on the beautiful islands of Turks and Caicos at Club Med. Teaching yoga gives me the opportunity to travel the world and teach yoga. We get an amazing deal on an all inclusive resort in exchange for teaching some yoga. All meals and cocktails are covered, and at Club Med all water sports and Circus fun are included as well. On this trip I taught yoga to people from all over the world, France, Brazil, the UK, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Italy, and from all over the US. Yoga really is universal. When you teach yoga on the resort, you develop a connection with everyone who joins your class making for a great time.
I learned something new this trip. Most countries take vacations for multiple weeks at a time. Most vacationers were there for at least two weeks and some were staying up to four weeks. This seams unusual for my American sensibilities, but maybe they are doing it right. Maybe if we spent more time on holiday we would have less stress and anxiety.

My vacation is over and Showcase prep starts now! August 19th we will begin our showcase prep classes on Fridays and Saturdays. It will show on the schedule but if you are a performer you only need to show up for practice.

Our Sixth Annual Showcase is up and ready to buy your tickets. This year we offer a World of Pure Imagination with Aerial performances to peak into a world of whimsy. We will have over 20 performances to amaze and astound you. The students and teachers at Sunshine Yoga Shack have been polishing their aerial skills all year and cannot wait to show you what they can do. There is a $100 cash prize and a trophy for best costume. Also, a $100 to whoever finds the Golden Ticket. We will have Food Trucks to feed your fancy and cocktails to quench your thirst.
