Happy Mother's Day to everyone this Sunday. If you are a mom, have a mom or are an animal mom, it is a day to celebrate.
When I think back to the day I became a mom in 2001 it was a special day that changed me forever. You are never fully prepared for the love you feel on that day. Having your child placed in your arms for the first time changes your life. You would do anything for your children and to create a safe space for them to thrive.
Shortly after I became a mother I began my yoga practice and I know it made all of the difference in the lives of my children. Early on I realized when I took care of my body and my peace of mind, I was better when my children needed me. When you are on an airplane and the cabin loses air, you must first put your oxygen mask on before you help those around you. You have to be able to breathe for yourself before you can assist those counting on you.
I had a consistent yoga practice for ten years before I took Yoga Teacher Training. I took that training to learn more about yoga so I could understand why it helped me so much. If you are interested in Yoga Teacher Training, our in studio training starts in August. There are only three more spots open. Please do not wait to register as it will be full this year. When you register for training your all access membership is included in tuition.
Aerial Teacher Training registration is open as well. Scheduled for 2 Saturdays, June 18th and 25th. This will be an opportunity for 25 CECs with Yoga Alliance. In this training we will review yoga, the roots and history, the science and the energetic qualities and then learn how it applies to aerial hammocks. We will break down basic aerial skills and how to teach them safely to all body types and experience levels. This training includes one month of membership to take the required aerial classes.
Reiki is energy. In our yoga practice we learn to move our energy and heal our bodies from the inside. This summer we will offer Reiki Attunements and Certifications. We will offer Reiki level one. Perfect to help align your energy and heal yourself. In July we will offer Reiki level two for those experienced with Reiki one and ready to take the next step to work on others. Reiki Mastership will be offered on a private, per person basis. Pricing for these opportunities, Level one $150, Level two $250 and Mastership $500.

The children will have a separate performance around Christmas, so only adult aerials please register.
