Sunshine’s Controller Rishi Bajnath is known by his neighbors as the “Grill Master” because of his love of spending time with his family in his garden, grilling a delicious meal. At his desk at Sunshine, he devotes the same amount of passion and precision to managing the company’s accounting and operational systems.
When he joined the company in 2017, he saw his role as the chance to build on his career experiences and learn new skills.
“Sunshine has given me a unique opportunity to manage accounting, but also learn the intricacies of Sunshine’s operations,” he said. “This blend has given me the best work experience I ever had.”
He also credits, Randy Kierce, Sunshine’s Chief Operating Officer, with allowing him to grow in his job. “I take pride in closing the books quickly, so we can look at the results as a team and find ways to make the company even stronger.”
Rishi also takes pride in his Pompano Beach, Florida home, he affectionately calls “the neatest Miami Dolphins man cave.” More recently, however, his fiancé, Jackie, has been helping him create a more family-focused home. The father of two teenage daughters, Hanna and Vanna, Rishi also admits to binging on Netflix shows.
