What's Happening Around LSR?

12 weeks from today, the Lincoln Square Farmers Market returns! The big news is that this season, the market will be in a new location. Due to updates to the Western Brown Line Station area set to start later this year, the market will be moving 2 blocks south to the lot at 4513 N Lincoln Avenue. You can read more about it here.

Get your tickets for Best Friends Turn 11! Bottles and Cans is teaming up with Begyle Brewing to celebrate their 11th anniversaries! Tickets for the event on Saturday, February 17, include live music, beer, wine, cocktails, games and a commemorative glass. Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks and pop ups! February is Black History Month and we'd like to take some time to spotlight local black-owned businesses and products you can find in Lincoln Square.

This week, we'd like to spotlight Nicole Lang. Nicole is a local resident and owner of lo-fi events, an event planning business specializing in creative and curated celebrations.

If you've been to our Farmers Markets, (12 weeks to market season!!!) you've probably met Karen Forte, owner/maker of Made w/Love Organic Fruit & Floral Vinegar. If you can't wait for market season to pick up some of her all-natural, hand-fermented organic vinegars, you'll be able to find her at our International Women's Day Market, March 9 & 10.

In honor of Black History Month, The Book Cellar's front table is full of books by amazing black authors and black stories. As always, they've got some great recommendations for you too! Stop in to check out their extensive collection.

Fat Tuesday / Paczki Day

Fat Tuesday is one of our favorite days of the year. We fill up on NOLA style coffee and tasty Paczki from a local coffee shop.
