Good evening, awesome educators.

As I've always stated, the F in our S.A.F.E. Re-Entry Plan stands for Flexibility. Just as we have promised our families flexibility in the learning options available for students this fall, please know I am committed to providing the same flexibility to our educators regarding the opportunity to teach remotely.

As stated in our latest set of FAQs for teachers and staff, teachers may be granted permission by their principal to teach remotely by agreeing to specific criteria within the District's Virtual Instruction Telework Agreement . The only reason a teacher would be required to teach from the school site is if the conditions of the Virtual Instruction Telework Agreement are not met.

Principals will be sharing more details about the Virtual Instruction Telework Agreement soon. Until then, I appreciate your patience, and please know we are here to support you.
Sincerely,

Dr. Joris M. Ray,
Superintendent
