Dear Northwest ISD families and staff,
As we continue early voting and approach Election Day on November 4, I want to take a moment to encourage every member of our community to be informed, engaged, and active in the democratic process. On your ballot this election cycle is Northwest ISD's Proposition A measure, which is an operations tax rate election that, if approved, would generate additional revenue to decrease class sizes and provide teacher and staff raises.
I am not here to tell you how to vote, but rather to remind you how vital your participation in this election is. Every ballot you cast in a local election shapes the future of our schools and our community. Local elections matter, and your voice matters. Please take time to learn about this proposition, ask questions, and most importantly—make your voice heard by voting.
Thank you for your continued support of our students, teachers, and schools. Together, we make a difference for every child, every day. Please make a plan to vote and view this webpage for voting locations and times.
With appreciation,
Mark Foust
Superintendent of Schools
