Dear Northwest Families,
 
On behalf of Northwest ISD and our school board, I want to wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season! With the help of our amazingly artistic students, please enjoy the holiday greeting below.
 
We are blessed by a talented and motivated group of students and teachers, and I want to celebrate all their gains and successes this first semester. Thank you for supporting your child's education and partnering with us on their learning experience.
 
I love how our community came together following Dr. Hicks’ unexpected passing. While it has been an honor to serve as acting superintendent, I am looking forward to what the new year will bring. We anticipate Dr. Mark Foust being named our new superintendent in January, and we know Northwest ISD’s path of excellence will continue under his leadership.
 
I hope you enjoy this special time with your family, and we look forward to seeing our students back in class on Thursday, January 5.

¡En nombre de Northwest ISD y nuestra junta escolar, quiero desearles a usted y a su familia una maravillosa temporada navideña! Con la ayuda de nuestros estudiantes increíblemente artísticos, disfrute el saludo navideño que se muestra arriba.
 
Estamos bendecidos por un grupo de estudiantes y maestros muy motivados y talentosos, y quiero celebrar todos sus logros y éxitos este primer semestre. Gracias por su apoyo en la educación de su hijo (a) y asociarse con nosotros en su experiencia de aprendizaje.
 
Me encanta cómo nuestra comunidad se unió tras el inesperado fallecimiento del Dr. Hicks. Si bien ha sido un honor servir como superintendente interino, espero con ansias lo que traerá el nuevo año. Anticipamos que el Dr. Mark Foust será nombrado nuestro nuevo superintendente en enero, y sabemos que el camino de excelencia de Northwest ISD continuará bajo su liderazgo.
 
Espero que disfrute este momento especial con su familia y esperamos ver a nuestros estudiantes de regreso en clase el jueves 5 de enero.
