"Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning." Benjamin Franklin

Dear Ramapo & Indian Hills High School Families,

I joined Ramapo Indian Hills this past November and in my time here thus far, I have enjoyed getting to know our students, staff, parents, and community members. My role as Superintendent of Schools is to help our team meet the needs of all of our students to ensure the best learning experiences and doing so by working with and supporting our dedicated teachers, staff, and administration.

Over the past several months, I have had the amazing opportunity to meet with our staff and students at each of our high schools. I also enjoy meeting with our Student Council on a monthly basis who represents the entire student body. In these meetings, I have discussed with our Student Council the opportunity to hear from our entire student body and our parents.

In order for us to be able to help our team build upon the incredible success of our schools, we also want to hear from all of our parents and provide you with a forum to share your perspective. At this time, we want to hear from you on the following question:

What are the points of pride in our schools that we should continue to celebrate, and what are some areas we should focus on in order to continue to improve?

We recently began using a software technology platform called Thought Exchange. The purpose of Thought Exchange is to leverage the technology so people can share their perspectives which will enable us to build our strategy and plan for the future. Above you will watch a brief introductory video explaining how Thought Exchange is used and how it works.

In February, we provided the opportunity to hear the perspectives of our faculty and staff. This past March, we heard from nearly 2,000 Ramapo and Indian Hills High School students through Thought Exchange. Parents, now it’s your turn. We look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to work together to make the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District a great place to learn, a great place to work, and a great place to live. Please select the link below or visit so you can participate in this Thought Exchange and share your feedback. Thank you for your partnership and we look forward to hearing your insight.
