Dade County Wolverine Football Players got a chance this past Saturday to workout with former NFL lineman Edmund Kugbila of the Carolina Panthers and former CFL player Manuel Rodriguez. Both of these players played for Coach Warren at Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Kugbila played for Valdosta State and was on the National Championship team in 2012 and Rodriguez was a starter for West Georgia College as defensive back.
Coach Warren said, "It was really fun for some of our players to get a chance to workout at this level and to experience what it takes to play college football. It was awesome for me to have some of my former players coaching some of my current players. I really enjoyed seeing them work with our Wolverine players. I still run the same program that I did back then and it was awesome to see them show us new techniques to improve upon what we do. My plans are to get them to come work with all of our players one day this summer for practice."
