Training to help staff support students with special needs
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) workshop facilitated by Dr. Katz designed to remove barriers to learning and to give all students equal opportunities to succeed by building in flexibility to suit their

By providing staff access to ongoing support and in-service opportunities, we can help them to succeed in meeting the diverse learning needs of students,

Mental Wellness in Leadership Workshop
One of our priorities as a leadership team is to foster an inclusive, adaptable and accountable culture in School District 73. This is why the SD73 leadership team provides, and also participates in, monthly mental wellness workshops offered by the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Partnering with the expertise of organizations like the CMHA is one of the goals of our District Wellness Committee to build psychological safety into our workplace. This reflects recent changes in the national standards regarding psychological safety, which may become mandatory practice in all workplaces.
