Nominations now open for Chamber's Annual Superior Business Awards

The Superior Chamber of Commerce annually hosts its Superior Business Awards to recognize companies and individuals throughout our region on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Lionsgate Event Center. We want to ensure that the organizations and individuals shaping the future of our business community are recognized, and we need your help! 


The following awards will be given in 2023:


  • Start-Up Business of the Year
  • Solo Business of the Year
  • Small Business of the Year
  • Business of the Year
  • Heather Cracraft Superior Achiever Award
  • One Community Service Award
  • Business Professional of the Year
  • Young Professional of the Year
  • Workplace Diversity Award


The form to nominate, including the full list of awards and eligibility descriptions can be found HERE. The nomination deadline is Friday, March 10th, 2023 by 5:00 p.m. And yes! You can nominate yourself!

Share this scholarship information with a high school senior


The Superior Chamber is proud to offer two $1,000 scholarships annually to high school seniors residing in Superior, Colorado. Seniors graduating in 2023 can now apply for a scholarship toward tuition at a college, university, or trade school. The application is now open.

Ribbon Cutting for Atlas Chiropractic to Welcome Dr. Cort

Thursday, February 23rd | 5:30 p.m.


Please join us at Atlas Chiropractic of Boulder as we welcome their newest chiropractor, Dr. Cort! Dr. Cort has been on the team since October and all of Atlas patients love him! He specializes in helping people get out of pain and recover from sports injuries so they can get back to living the lives they love. Stop by the Atlas office to meet him, enjoy refreshments, win raffle prizes, and network with other Superior and Boulder professionals.

The State of the Chamber & Member Expo will be held at the Superior Community Center on Thursday, March 2nd from 10:00 am to 12:30 p.m. This special event will kick off with a Chamber Member Expo followed by a luncheon for Members to hear how their investment is being used. Leslie Espinoza, Executive Director, will take the audience through the 2022 Annual Report, and present highlights for the Superior Chamber's 2023 Program of Work. Town of Superior Mayor, Mark Lacis will give a special address, and Economic Development Manager, Jill Mendoza will give an update on what's coming to Superior.

Food & Spare Change Donation Drive will be held on March 4th!

Saturday, March 4th | 10:00 a.m.


The Superior Chamber in Partnership with Paull Interiors and Nick Crothers Real Estate is organizing a Food and Spare Change Drive on March 4th from 10-2 at Town Hall and various collection sites around the Superior Marketplace. If you are able, please come out and support by donating food and/or Spare Change. In 2021, we were able to collect 5,000 pounds of food and over $5,000 in spare change. This year's Food Beneficiary is Sister Carmen Food Bank and the Spare Change Beneficiary is Coal Creek Meals on Wheels. Both serve a vital need in our community and both can really use the support this time of year.

Chat with the Chief

Saturday, March 18th | 9:00 a.m.


Sgt. Salaman from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office will be at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) on Saturday, March 18 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. for a Chat with the Chief. Join us for a casual conversation about current law enforcement priorities and crime prevention. Food and beverages will be provided!

New and renewing members are encouraged to join us on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at 8:30am for our Member Success Orientation. Our Member Success Orientation is designed to provide a 360-degree overview of the Superior Chamber’s programs and events, and resources you can utilize to maximize your membership. You'll also have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your services to everyone in attendance.

The Town of Superior will be coordinating vendors for the 2023 Arbor Day event. If you are interested in participating, please use this link to fill out our interest form. Please note that while we will work to support as many local businesses and programs as possible, priority partnerships will first consider those able to provide a family or kid-focused activity and to vendors able to offer an arbor, plant, sustainability, environmental, etc. focused booth.

You're invited to BVSD Career & Technical Education's 1st Annual Advisory Meeting


We are looking for industry partners to engage with our Career & Technical Education programs as advisory board members. Currently, BVSD has CTE programs in all of our high schools and through the Boulder TEC center (see the list here), and we are looking to build our advisory boards for these programs. With this in mind, we are hosting a district-wide industry & education alliance meeting where we are hoping business leaders will attend, learn more about CTE, and engage with content-specific CTE programs and their teachers to get these important conversations started.
